It is important that you start and keep going at your relay fundraising. Professional club letters for businesses, family, ect. are available either on the website or through Nicole. We need to set a club goal.

Freerice.com This is the last month to turn in your Freerice.com totals. For every 1,000 grains donated you get 1 service hour. 5 total hours. Easy hours!!!!

Website:

We are partnering with Student Government to participate in the Alta Vista Book Drive. Please donate 5 children’s books (k-5) to Dr. C by February 13 th. This is the last day of the book drive.

Congratulations… Erika Hostetler!!!! For being Outstanding Member of the Month for January!

Saturday morning, February 21 st, at 8am, we will participate in a coastal clean up. This will just be our group. Please meet at the Siesta Key snack bar at 8 am. From there we will provide trash bags and gloves. For about 2 hours we will clean the beach of unwanted items and recycle. There will be prizes for who finds the most valuable item and who finds the most craziest item!!! When we are done, we’ll have a social. So please bring any snack food item to share; a bag of chips, cookies, ect. Relax, eat and enjoy the beach! Play a game of volleyball, ect. Pick up is whenever you are ready after the project. HOPE FOR GOOD WEATHER!

Fundraiser, February 24th Were taking off into the community next meeting! Meeting in Dr.C’s room and leaving at 2:30 in groups of 3- 4, we will walk, carpool/drive to 5 businesses or ask 10 school teachers for donations. We will have our Relay for Life letters and club shirts on!!!! You will keep a log of who is in your group, where you went and when you returned to the meeting place. We will meet back at Bennigans restaurant across from SHS at 3:30-3:45 promptly. It is important you meet back at Bennigans with your completed group logs. All the money you raise in your groups will be donated to our Relay for Life team. Have a coke and appetizer with your friends afterwards!

Newsletters! We will supply newsletters for every month with many updates. We hope this will encourage your participation in meetings and service projects.
