IFIP TC5 Working Group 5.4 Computer Aided Innovation Objectives: The Working Group will: – Identify the different existing approaches – Share opinions, visions and ideas – Understand the current stage and requirements – Perform research and promote development of new CAI tools – Propose a framework for evaluating CAI tools within the innovation process – Assess opportunities for organizing regular Working Conferences, Seminars and Workshops

IFIP TC5 Working Group 5.4 Computer Aided Innovation Aims: 1. To contribute to identify the underlying scientific foundation of Computer Aided Innovation and also to evaluate their effectiveness and efficiency 2. To identify the state of the art and trends of computer aided innovation software and its tools and methods by discussing organizational, technological and cognitive aspects of the application of CAI methods and tools 3. To promote the development of Computer Aided Innovation Software focusing on end-to-end product creation process with methods and tools to ensure the feasibility and success of innovations 4. To address the main motivations of the industrial sector, regarding the engineering innovation activity with computer tools and methods, 5. To address the main motivations of the academic community regarding theoretical foundations of computer aided innovation.

IFIP TC5 Working Group 5.4 Computer Aided Innovation Scope: The Working Group will promote regular working conferences, seminars and workshops on Computer Aided Innovation calling for contributions for clarifying the role of computer aided innovation tools. The Working Group will focus in connecting together managers, engineers, scientists and academics interested in pushing forward the development of this new kind of tools and methods The Working Group will promote that the best papers presented at its conferences, seminars and workshops will be further developed and enhanced for being published in selected journals with high impact.
