2 Objective 1: To enhance the capacity of ISETs Medenine/Tataouine faculty to develop and offer advanced academic programs related to renewable energy and energy efficiency in the industrial sector Output 1.1.1: ISETs Medenine/Tataouine faculty complete short-term training in areas related to renewable energy, energy efficiency, and entrepreneurship Outcome 1.1: Improved ISETs Medenine/Tataouine faculty capacity to prepare and teach courses in areas related to renewable energy, energy efficiency, and entrepreneurship

3 Objective 2: To strengthen applied research capacity at ISETs Medenine/Tataouine and enhance offerings in advanced academic programs in the areas of renewable energy and energy efficiency in the industrial sector Outcome 2.1: Students have access to and complete improved ISETs Medenine/Tataouine program(s) in the areas of renewable energy and energy efficiency in the industrial sector Outcome 2.2: Improved practices and dissemination of applied research at ISETs Medenine/Tataouine Outcome 2.3: Enhanced access to state- of-the art computer tools (simulation tools to design energy efficient manufacturing processes and feasibility studies) to faculty, students, and other staff Output 2.1.1: New courses are developed and delivered in renewable energy, energy efficiency, and entrepreneurship Output 2.1.2: Practical, hands-on "projets de fin d'etudes" are offered to students Output 2.2.1: Collaborative applied research projects between CU and ISETs Medenine/Tataouine faculty and students are completed Output 2.2.2: ISETs Medenine/Tataouine faculty present technical publication(s) at conferences Output 2.2.3: ISETs Medenine/Tataouine faculty submit technical paper(s) in peer-reviewed journals Output 2.3.1: Improved computer software that are made available to faculty and students Output 2.3.3: ISETs Medenine/Tataouine faculty and students complete training sessions to learn how to use new and advanced simulation tools Output 2.3.2: Assignments and projects given by ISETs Medenine/Tataouine faculty to students, that use advanced analysis software

4 Objective 3: ISETs Medenine/Tataouine becomes recognized as a resource and knowledge center for innovation in the areas of renewable energy and energy efficiency technologies suitable for the industry Outcome 3.1: Increased capacity of ISETs Medenine/Tataouine faculty and students to connect with and offer- provide services to local community and private sector in the area of energy resources management Output 3.1.1: Center for Sustainable Solutions for industry is created to provide technical assistance (training, research, and consulting) to local community and private sector professional (two different branches in each ISET) Output 3.1.2: Policies and procedures (iCast model) are developed and implemented to involve ISETs Medenine/Tataouine faculty and students in the activities of the Center for Sustainable Solutions Output 3.1.5: Website developed to support the partnership and showcase the activities of the Center for Sustainable Solutions Output 3.1.4: Externally-funded projects (research, technical assistance/expertise, feasibility studies, pilot projects, etc.) are developed Output 3.1.3: Outreach activities (demonstration projects, open public workshops, local case studies, seminars, etc.) are organized and held to involve local community stakeholders, job seekers, and/or recent graduates
