MAIN IDEA The Fourth Amendment guarantees your right to be secure against unreasonable searches and seizures —in other words, it guarantees that you have rights to some sorts of privacy. As with First Amendment rights, Fourth Amendment rights are not absolute and are subject to judicial interpretation. In this cyber age, protection of these rights is perhaps more important than ever.
