3 4 th Amendment “The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause …”

4 Who does the right belong to? “People” U.S. v. Verdugo-Urquidez –Not illegal citizen outside of U.S. –Must be “part of our national community” –Open question: What about illegal citizen searched in U.S.?
