Determine TOR for IYOR coordinator National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) took the lead on drafting Terms of References for the IYOR coordinator. Under the US co-Secretariat, NOAA will providing be financial support for the ICRI IYOR coordinator and webmaster functions. IYOR Logo A logo contest within the ICRI community was organized and 27 logos from around the world were received. In order to select 5 finalists, a first vote was done within ICRI / IYOR partners (77 votes were received). Based on the initial screening, the five finalists are presented at the ICRI General Meeting for a final decision.

Web site – The – temporary - web site was launched early January with the following: –Latest News –What is the IYOR? –IYOR Resources (Key documents, Educational materials, IYOR National Focal Points –Get involved (How to get involved?, Activity and event ideas, IYOR associated events) –Newsletter A newsletter system has been set-up, and as of April 16th, 70 persons have signed-up from 29 countries.
