Ambition in Action Topics /Delivery of the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAA) to Institute staff (part-time and full-time) /Proposed model for delivery of the Diploma in Training and Assessment for full-time staff

Ambition in Action Certificate IV in Training and Assessment Option 1 Process upgrade of the Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training to the Certificate IV Training and Assessment Model /Initial interview – 1 hour /Personal Learning Plan (and relationship to Individual Learning Development Plan) /Gap training plus work-based project mentored by head teachers /Assessment

Ambition in Action Certificate IV Training and Assessment for new part-time teachers without any teaching experience – 2 stage process Option 2 This program would model current programs being delivered in the Institute. Stage 1: Six core competencies delivered over 4 days. /Core Units: /TAAASS401C – Plan & organize assessment /TAAASS402C– Assess competence /TAAASS403B – Develop assessment tools /TAAASS404B – Participate in assessment validation /TAADEL401B– Plan & organize group based delivery /TAAENV401B– Work effectively in VET /minimum of 12 participants

Ambition in Action Certificate IV Training and Assessment for new part-time teachers without any teaching experience – 2 stage process Stage 2 8 Competency Units - delivered in 8 days for teachers who have completed part one. Core Units: /TAADEL403B – Facilitate individual learning /TAADEL404B – Facilitate work-based learning /TAADES401B – Use t/packages to meet client needs /TAADES402B – Design & develop learning programs /TAAENV402B – Foster & promote an inclusive learning culture /TAAENV403B – Ensure a healthy & safe learning environment Elective Units: 2 only to be completed /TAADEL301C – Provide training through instruction and demonstration of work skills /TAADEL402B – Facilitate group based learning /TAADEL501B – Facilitate e-learning /TAATAS401B – Maintain Information requirements of training and/or assessment organisations minimum group of 10 participants
