What is Challenge Day?  Challenge Day is a 501 c(3)non-profit organization that helps people learn to connect through powerful, life-changing programs in their schools and communities.  Challenge Day Leaders guide participants through a carefully designed exploration of the ways people separate from each other, and model tools for creating connection and building community.  Challenge Day programs inspire youth and communities to Be the Change they wish to see in the world, and challenge others to do the same.

What is the Challenge Day mission? “Challenge Day's mission is to provide youth and their communities with experiential workshops and programs that demonstrate the possibility of love and connection through the celebration of diversity, truth and full expression.”

How does Challenge Day work? “A Challenge Day is a 6 1/2 hour experiential program, in which we send two of our highly- trained, passionate Leaders from the San Francisco Bay Area to your school to lead a workshop for 100 students (grades 7-12) and 25 or more adults, including teachers, staff and family members.” 

Formula for Change! Challenge Day's simple three-step Formula for Change  — Notice, Choose & Act —  NOTICE – Wake up! Notice what's happening.  CHOOSE – Dream It! Create a vision for what you DO want your life to look like.  ACT – Do Something! Have the courage and commitment it takes to be the change

Challenge Day Reviews  “So honored to have participated in the remarkable Challenge Day in Jacksonville. A very important experience for adults, to support the kids and be reminded ourselves of our fundamental human connection. Please volunteer!” -Jorelle Lee  “A really eye opening time for me. Never learned so much about people I thought I knew. I feel very connected with my peers. I’m grateful for challenge day.” - Brittney Giddings  “I give challenge day 5 stars. Today they came to my school, and I thank them for that. It was a very amazing experience, I felt like one of the best. We had these 2 AMAZING speakers, Shean and Katie. Thanks you too, you both opened up to us and helped us open up. It was a day I won't be able to forget. I differently would love to do it again, and I think more schools should go to these things and set them up. They help the problems at school we always complain about, in reality with the help of Shean and Katie and there words we could have fixed it sooner. I am just very grateful for this. And I hope you guys all keep it up and change more lives like you have moved mine. Thanks again :)” -Katie Bug  “I have participated in two Challenge Days! Both so different from one another but life changing experiences. If you have the opportunity to participate in a Challenge Day I highly recommend it.”-Vanessa Coates
