The Cyclops were the first Smiths Were imprisoned by Cronus in Tartarus Were released by Zeus from Tartarus and fought with him against the Titans The Cyclops rewarded Zeus his power of lightning and thunder for their release

The Cyclops is a One eyed giant The eye is in the middle of its forehead The Cyclops is Very huge

Gaea- Mom Uranus- Dad Titans- siblings Rhea- sister Cronus- brother Poseidon- Dad of Polyphemus

 Was banned from earth by Zeus at birth, but was then remitted back and became a favorite of Zeus  Were great workmen  Zeus gave them a home in the country where fruits were plentiful  Ulysses sailed into the island where Polyphemus lived  Ulysses and his men found the cave where Polyphemus lived and they feasted on all of his food  Polyphemus caught them feasting on his sheep and trapped them in his cave  Ulysses and his men poked Polyphemus eye with a spear

Ulysses and his men also tricked Polyphemus into drinking so much wine that he was drunk Once Ulysses and his men made Cyclops drunk they tricked him into opening the cave door and they escaped Centuries passed before any one ever heard of the Cyclops again

The Cyclopean walls are meant to have been built by the Cyclops Volcanoes are believed to be the affect of the Cyclops’s underground work

There are no kids or wives mentioned in the story of The Cyclops but they could possibly have children or spouses that were not mentioned in the story
