End of the Year Celebrations Throughout the school year we host many celebrations that recognize our scholars for their achievements. These celebrations can include, PBIS assemblies, student of the month, honor roll breakfasts, and many others, but nothing compares to our end of the year celebrations

7 th Grade Field Day Our scholars and families are invited to join us in a day of outside activities. Our staff begins planning our field day months in advance, so that they can enjoy their last days of 7 th grade, spend quality fun time with their friends and teachers as well as build lasting memories. Our field day begins with some team competitions and moves outside to our scholars and staff playing on water slides, BBQing, snacking on popcorn, snow cones, cotton candy and many other activities.

Not only does our class trip create lasting memories, but it also helps our scholars build strong leadership and team building skills. In partnership with Sierra Nevada Journeys, and Grizzly Creek Ranch our scholars spend a day enjoying challenges that help them work together, think critically, and develop the leadership skills to become successful adults.

Dilworth has Talent It’s a tradition at DSA to host and participate in our End of the Year Talent show! Winners receive prizes such as gift cards, wild island passes, free lunch over the summer and trophies. We invite all of our families, scholars and community members to become a part of this tradition.

Dilworth scholars and families are honored for their continued commitment to exceed high academic expectations. Dilworth STEM Academy staff, community businesses and community members host an Academy Awards Night in honor of students continuing to hold a GPA of 3.5 or higher.

Families, honored scholars and guests walk the red carpet and are served a fully catered dinner & desert graciously donated and served by The Eldorado Resort. Following dinner each scholar is honored by their team with a trophy provided by Northern Nevada Medical Center and Greenbrae trophy, along with a certificate from our Academy administration, as well as a certificate of congratulations by the City of Sparks.
