 Blood Pressure Screenings are very important.  High blood pressure and high blood cholesterol levels are major risk factors for heart disease. So are smoking, physical inactivity, being overweight or obesity, and having diabetes. Other factors that contribute to the risk include having high triglyceride levels, and excessive alcohol intake.

 About one out of three U.S. adults—31.3%—has high blood pressure.  High blood pressure is a major risk factor for heart disease, stroke, congestive heart failure, and kidney disease.  High blood pressure was listed as a primary or contributing cause of death for 326,000 Americans in  In 2010, high blood pressure will cost the United States $76.6 billion in health care services, medications, and missed days of work. 2.

 Important to have a treadmill because running is one the most cost effective and best workout you can possibly do to stay in shape.  It is much easier to run on a treadmill than outside.  Results appear faster when working out on a treadmill. This is because treadmills control your workout. You only need to focus on breathing.
