I Am Mad

Sometimes people feel mad.

Sometimes I feel mad.

OK It is OK to feel mad.

It is not OK to hit other people.

Hitting hurts people.

My friends do not like hitting.

I do not hit when I feel mad.

I will say, “I am mad.” I am mad

Other things I can do when I feel mad are: Squish a pillow “Other things” added by Carla Zambri, School Psychologist

or squish play dough

or color a picture

or blow out your energy

or listen to music

or take a break

or take deep breaths

or get your body moving

or count to 10
