I issue a call to action by all who are concerned by the current plight of children and the threats to their services. The incontrovertible facts and a menu of recommendations are here in this outstanding book. In the last three months, an independent commission, a Home Office Select Committee, an inquiry by cross-bench peers in the House of Lords and a top police chief have recommended new approaches to dealing with the UK's drug problem.
