Biomes. A biome is one of Earth’s large ecosystems, with its own kind of climate, soil, plants, and animals.
Ecosystems and Biomes. Ecosystems Areas formed by plants and animals that have adapted to the environment.
By S. Wiernusz. The definition of climate is: the composite or generally prevailing weather conditions of a region, as temperature, air pressure, humidity,
We are learning about the rainforest. Rainforests are hot, steamy places were it rains a lot. Rainforests are the wettest areas of land in the world.

Desert Animals. What is a desert? The desert is a land of extremes: extreme heat and extreme dryness; sudden flash floods and cold nights. Because deserts.

Types of Global Environments Deserts, Rainforests, Mountains By Carson Mills

Mountains

Who lives in Mountains? People like sherpas. What lives in the mountains? Certain animals like Mountain Goats live in the mountains. They can live there because they have certain feet that can walk on mountain sides. Where are Mountains? Mountains are spread around the world all over different continents. When does it snow in Mountains? This depends on where the mountains are. If the mountains are near the equator then it wont snow much. Why are they there? The mountains are there because of the plates of the earth colliding. How are the mountains formed? The mountains are formed when the earths plates press against each other and force the land upwards creating a mountain.

Rainforests

Who protects it? The government protects most rainforests. What are rainforests? Rainforests a wide variety of trees and animals put into a hot and humid climate which spreads over hundreds of kilometers Where are rainforests? Rainforests are everywhere in the world. When does it rain in a rainforest? It rains almost every day in a rainforest. Why is a rainforest there? A Rainforest is there because it provides a home to many different animals and plant species. How was it made? Rainforests were made at the beginning of time. They have been in the world ever since.

Desert

Who lives in deserts? archeologists live in deserts because they are always digging and discovering things buried in the sand. Where are deserts? Deserts are spread all around the world. There is one on every continent What lives deserts? Lizards, Camels, Dingoes, Fox’ Scorpions and many more. When were deserts formed? Deserts were formed at the beginning of time. Why are certain animals able to live in deserts? Some animals are able to live in deserts because they have certain skin that can survive the extreme heat. How are deserts formed? Some deserts are formed by mountains that block the path of the rain clouds so it doesn’t rain then it becomes a desert.
