Hauora Achievement Standard 1.1

Hauora This is a 5 credit achievement standard It requires you to actively and enthusiastically participate in a range of different sports You are NOT graded on your ability... you are graded on your EFFORT

Taha Tinana - Physical The growth and development of your body The way in which we care for our body The changes that take place in our bodies Being healthy, eating the right foods Exercising and respecting our body

Taha Hinengaro – Mental and Emotional Your way of thinking, processing information, expressing thoughts and feelings. It is about knowledge and education, how you learn depends on how you think and feel.

Taha Whanau – Social Family relationships, friendships, a sense of belonging To something. Caring and sharing Love and support Whanau comes in many different ways, but it is something that you know you belong to

Taha Wairua - Spiritual The values and beliefs that determine the way people live Personal identity and self-awareness It it the drive and determinations of your self It is about your culture and your pride in who you are and where you come from.
