Research a topic Find a topic that is of interest to you Minimum 10 slides of information are required (Excludes Biography and Link at end of your presentation) Keep track of all sites you use for your information. You will need a bibliography. Be absolutely sure what you want to focus on and research. Find your information first before you make the PowerPoint

Making the PowerPoint Add pictures Use themes and backgrounds, Wordart, fonts Use subject headings, bullets, numbers using the bullets feature, subheadings, formatting (centre, left, right) Include topics and subtopics Include a title page, bibliography and conclusion Insert pictures and an animated GIF from clipart It must include a table or chart Create custom transitions for each slide Must contain custom animations

More Include different fonts, font sizes and types (bold, underlined italic) Include a SmartArt graphic (more on this later)

Slide Styles Go to the Design tab to select a variety of styles You can select a pre-made style Choose from a variety of background styles Custom colours, fonts and effects

Text Boxes Text boxes help you keep your text in a certain area (the box). Click on the Text Box button to create one Below is a text box. You can pull on the white circles to change the shape, and move around the green circle to change its orientation You will have to make and edit these in your presentation
