The Noise By: Anthony Kelly

The Noise By: Anthony Kelly

Daniel and his brother, Johnny were in the living room when they heard a noise. They decided to see what it was.

Each of them checked their bedroom to see if they heard something. The only noise they heard was Daniel’s clock, but that’s not the noise they were hearing.

Johnny checked the bathroom next. Once again, nothing was found.

The boys wanted to give up. They couldn’t stand the scratching noise.

After awhile, the noise went away. The boys were relieved.

The noise came back, and Johnny said, “There are ghosts in the house!” Their mother chimed in, “There are no ghosts in here, what are you talking about?”

The boys then explained to their mom what had happened. At that point, she began to get curious too.

When their mother started to look for the noise, she practically tore up the whole house. At one point, she opened a cabinet to look, and a bunch of pots and pans fell out.

Everybody began to go crazy. Daniel even called his dad at work to see if he heard anything. Unfortunately, even his father was clueless.

Johnny turned around while hearing the noise, then spotted his dog, Spike, scratching the wall. Everyone laughed and began to pet Spike.
