Conditional sentences

First conditional= possible future action or situation that depends on another situation. If (present) + will / can / may/ imperative If you need help, I will be there. If you need help, you can count on me. If you need help, Jay may give you a hand. If you need help, call me.

Second conditional= used to talk about things which are not true in the present If (past) + would/ could/ might If you lived in this city, you could have a lot of jobs opportunities. If I were you, I would get a skull on my left arm. If Daniel were 18, he would get a tattoo.

Third conditional= imaginary consequences of something that did not happen in the past If (past perfect) + would/ could/ might have + past participle James didn’t hurt Meg on purpose. If he had hurt her on purpose, she wouldn’t have forgiven him I jumped back whem Alex shouted. If I hadn’t jumped back, the car would have hit me.
