UT Share/PeopleSoft Important HR Deadlines (Cutover Activities) February 27, 2014

Important HR Deadlines March 31, 2014 HR must receive HRMS documents for employment related actions (reclassification, new positions, salary increases, etc) for an April 1 through April 30 effective date Next effective date is June (can’t retro) April 14 Last start date prior to go-live for benefits eligible employees (faculty, staff, and students) April 25, 2014 Last start date for any internal transfers (within UTSA) for benefits eligible employees AND/OR ANY non benefits eligible employees April 29, 2014 All reconciliation of time into DEFINE ETA module MUST BE completed for month of April by this date. This will result in a significant workload for your time administrators.

April 30, 2014 HRMS Appointments MUST be final approved by close of business Retroactive appointments or assignments with salary increases are not allowed by the state (will not be approved). Next effective date will be June 1, 2014 May 1 through May 31, 2014 Freeze on any hiring during the month of May. Continue to recruit; however, no start dates in May. Cannot hire with retro-active start date in the month of May Important HR Deadlines
