Maggie Burns and Maya Villamil-Lacson Ms.Brotsky 2B Cherokee

Location They lived in southeast.

Homes The Cherokee tribe lives in a village. the village was made out of wood and mud. They were also made out of cowhide.

Clothing Women wore Deerskin,tops,skirts and moccasins. men wore deerskin,lion,leggings,robes and shirts. they were made of lion and Deerskin

Food They ate corn,squash,beans,pumpkin,melons,sun flowers and tabacco. They mostly ate vetchebles. They grew it and picked it when it was ready. They didn’t hunt any of there food. They just grew food.

Roles of Men and Women The men built the villages. The women owned the villages and they were warriors.

Trades and Art There artwork wasn’t known for there tribe. They made canoes, masks and rattles, clay pot’s carved pipes, double wall baskets and river cane items. They didn’t make any other artwork.
