Manners in the UK. There are three that are FALSE. In the UK do stand in a queue when you wait for a bus or to pay for something in a shop don't spit on the street do burp loudly after a meal don't apologise if you bump into somebody on the street do say ‘please' and ‘thank you' at every opportunity don't cover your mouth when you yawn or sneeze don't greet people with two kisses don't pick your nose in public.

Make phrases using these words: To shake To sound To enjoy Unsociable To behave To appreciate Irresponsible Blazing Awful

Match the words to make phrases: To shake behavior To sound the conversation To enjoy the advice Unsociable hands To behave friendly To appreciate row Irresponsible inconsiderately Blazing statement Awful arguments

Answer the questions Do you enjoy having conversations with people you don’t know very well? Why? Do you think smoking in the café or on the street is inconsiderate towards other people? What is ‘unsociable behavior’ in your opinion?
