IDEA FAIR 2013 Instructions Delete this slide and the next one from your final presentation. Adjust the chart on the last slide to reflect the number of revenue streams in your financial model. If you need more than one slide for a topic, that is OK. For example, if you need 2 slides to cover one topic, that is OK, but strongly suggest no more than 6 total slides. You will only have 5 minutes to present your idea! Use pictures and adjust the font to make each slide look full (don’t leave lots of white space). 1

IDEA FAIR 2013 Instructions Feel free to change the font, but make sure it is legible. Don’t use a font size less than 20 points—your audience will not be able to read it. You can change the background, but make sure your slides are easy to read. We strongly encourage you to use white for the background and a dark color for your text. Be consistent in the punctuation of your slides. Check your spelling. 2

IDEA FAIR 2013 Differentation Competition: Describe your competitors. Differentiation: Describe how your products (services) are different from those provided by competitors. Appeal: Explain why these differences matter to customers. In particular, explain how they address the pain points you identified. Sustainable Advantage: Explain why it will be hard for competitors to copy your products (services). 6
