District Improvement Audit

 Almost everyone talked about “caring staff”; “dedicated to students”; “high degree of willingness”; and “positive attitudes – hard work, dedication, and commitment modeled by staff”

 Many talked about “cohesive Board”  Community support for education  Values of school community – good kids, good families

 Pride in... IRI scores from Pioneer and Oakwood School improvement team at middle school School activities and PTE programs at PHS FCHS alternative school – new building, longevity and impact of the program. Facilities and finances

 Develop a functional mission that drives district improvement What is the purpose? Why are we here? What do you value? Build consensus around a K-12 vision Align curriculum and assessments K-12 HOW DOES EACH BUILDING HELP THE OVERALL PRODUCT – PRESTON GRADUATE???

 Communication  Follow through  Aligned Leadership  Including more voices in the change process and strategic planning

 PR and communication around dual credit opps/ advanced opportunities  Layers of PR around what you are doing and WHY  Transparency with District programs
