Think about these questions

Have you... Have you ever written anything on social media about someone that was not nice?

Have you... Ever tagged someone in a photo to be nasty?

Ever put something as your status that made fun of someone or was unkind? Have you...

Ever replied to someone who had said something nasty about you in their status? Have you...

Ever started an online group about someone and got lots of people to join it? Have you...

Did you say yes to any of these questions?

What is Cyberbullying? The use of mobile phones or the internet to threaten or abuse someone.

Why is Cyberbullying different to bullying? You cannot get away from it It can get to you anywhere e.g. through your mobile phone

The bully can be anonymous No one else can see the bullying happening There are no witnesses

What can you do if you are being Cyberbullied? Tell someone you trust Do not reply to the message Keep a copy of all the messages

Keep a note of the date and time the messages were sent Block people you do not want to talk to

Change your contact details If you are threatened contact the police.
