February 2012 Updates: Alma is 18 months old!
Alma is an energetic toddler, who has plans and doesn’t hesitate to execute them (top), gets the message across (left) and is certainly going places (right)
Alma is always independent, helpful, busy and... Teething!
Alma enjoys playing with balls of every sort, and is showing good development in throwing and kicking
Alma enjoys pretend play very much
She especially likes to put herself to sleep I tried to play puzzles with her but she wasn’t very interested
Alma has a great interest in books; her favourite book this month was the one on the left, about Hebrew letters (the book has magnets that help you create the letters’ shapes)
Magnets were very popular this month. Alma got very excited when I showed her how to spell her name and was clearly captivated by this.
More literacy fun: reading with dad and enjoying Hebrew flash cards
Alma enjoyed exploring Mr Potato
Other popular games: masks and the heavy swivelling clown
Alma has a very good ability to concentrate on a task for a long period of time, such as threading a string or piling books, and she is also flexible and communicative when playing with me with dolls or cars.
Alma found a new road for the train... When Alma watched her favourite Spot the Dog program, she went by herself and brought a dog doll
She is also a big “Baby Einstein” fan... In our next presentation: Alma’s artistic adventures!
