1. December 2011 Updates: Enjoying each other’s company before the big move The 250 boxes (and two huge portable wardrobes) arrived and I started the laborious task of packing our many belongings.

2. Dorothea came to help, and while I packed books and more books, she kept Hahgoot busy with baking Lamingtons and cooked wonderful dishes. Dorothea taught Hahgoot how to oil a pan

3. When they finished cooking and baking, they enjoyed Hahgoot’s new Pictionary card game

4. Dorothea and Alma also helped with the laundry – they’re a good team!

5. The girls love eating together. Sometimes Alma joins Hahgoot at the blue table, sometimes Hahgoot joins Alma on the colourful bench. Alma has to have EXACTLY what Hahgoot is having, and they both LOVE mango porcupines!

7. The girls play a lot of games together in the afternoon: Make up stories with paper dolls chase each other around the house or ride the bikes

8. I bought a special harness for Alma with an elephant backpack, which will become very useful in the next few months, when we go out, as Alma likes walking independently. Another fun game is making the baby cot into a “fortress”...

9. We had some breakthroughs at bath time: Hahgoot has managed to blow bubbles by herself and now is happy to float and “swim” on her belly.

10. In our next presentation: Alma is 16 months old!
