ISPS CODE Certification / Verification Scheme Additional Verification as determined by the Administration Changes in Company’s Security System Equipment inclusive, should always be approved by the FSA ½ years Extension + 3 months - 3 months Initial Verification Intermediate Certification Anniversary Date

ISPS C – Extension Scheme  The ISPS C may be extended for a period but no longer than three (3) months, if a ship, at the time when a ISPS C expires, is not in a port in which is to be verified.  A period of grace (extension) of up to one month may also be granted to a ship engaged on short voyages.

Interim ISPS C Certification Scheme It is issued for the purposes of:  Ship without ISPS C, on delivery or prior to its entry or re-entry into service.  Change of Flag (Contracting Government)  Change of Flag (Not Contracting Government)  Change of Management  Validity: Six (6) months  Extension: May NOT be extended

Interim ISPS C Verification - Provisions 1. The Security Assessment has been completed. 2. The Security Plan is available on board and has been submitted for approval. 3. Availability of ship Security Alert System.
