The Connecting Europe Facility (transport sector) Regulation (EU) 1316/2013 Budget: €24.02bn Including €11.3 bn transferred from the Cohesion Fund Grants  Priorities: TEN-T Corridors and core network: cross-border, missing links, bottlenecks pre-identified projects Horizontal priorities: interoperability, innovation, ERTMS… Sustainable modes of transport Innovative financial instruments (10% of total budget)

JASPERS for CEF (1) Advisory services (only) Specificities: Technical assistance for project development and implementation  sufficient quality, maturity and EU added- value Projects on the TEN-T core network eligible/financed under the CEF "cohesion envelope" Aim: help MS fully absorb national allocations (successful selection but also implementation phase) Specificities: Only for countries that specifically request JASPERS assistance Financing from the national allocations  authorisation of MS concerned of the maximum amount to be used for JASPERS services

JASPERS for CEF (2) Framework Partnership Agreement 7 years (till 2020); w. DG REGIO Specific Grant Agreement: 1 July 2015 – 30 June 2017 7 MS: BG, HR, EL, HU, RO, SK, SI Implementation MOVE continuous cooperation with JASPERS and REGIO to ensure effective complementarity
