 It is dangerous to live there because of all the bad storms that occur next to the ocean. Bad weather next to the ocean can cause these thing. Also because these can kill people.

 1,836 people where killed in this storm.  600,000 pets were killed  705 people are reported as still missing as a result of Hurricane Katrina.

 It has been reported that 275,000 homes were lost as a result of the hurricane.  It was and still is one of the deadly thing that has happened.

 The United States an estimated $110 billion in damages.  Schools and people gave money to help these people.
