Presentation transcript:

* New Technologies like Hawk’s Eye Technology and * Instant replay now offer officials the chance for games with no officiating error

Hawk’s Eye technology With the use of many cameras installed around the stadium the computer can follow the ball and alert the official to it’s position allowing for accurate information to rule on goals

With this technology these non goals, as seen in the pictures, will be reduced Less players will feel cheated and all rightful goals will be rewarded and less controversial calls will need to be made

But Why Stop There? Other technology like video replay can be used to help rule over other controversial plays too Instant Replay can over rule false offsides rulings and finally put an end to all diving in soccer Diving=when a player falls to the ground to ‘fake’ a foul for a free kick

* It’s up to you, the fans, to decide what changes are going to be made * Current Fifa president, Sepp Blatter, is a traditionalist and wont make any major changes without support or pressure from fans

* Goal-line technology is set to be approved and introduced to the Barclays Premier League * This is a huge step and will encourage other leagues to do the same * If this technology is introduced successfully then this could be the first of many new implementations of technology into the game

* Goal-line technology and video replay offer us * The chance to reduce officiating error * Achieve truer match results * And the ability to make the great game even greater
