PROGRAMME: A Work programme for SAWEN will be agreed. OPERATIONAL STRUCTURE: The TOR for the Secretary ‐ General will be finalized and a decision will be made regarding the location for the SAWEN Secretariat (acknowledging the offer from Nepal). FUNDRAISING: A donor roundtable meeting will be held to highlight SAWEN’s objectives, plans and activities Where are we going? GOALS

CHAIRS FACILITATORS RESOURCE PROPLE The First Experts Group Meeting: Summary of outcomes and workshop report (presentation by Nepal) Update by focal points on recent and ongoing activities on capacity building, national consultations, needs assessments, forensics, investigations training, etc. (15-minute presentations by Member countries) How are we going to get there?

Hotspots, Trade Routes, Markets, Transits, Species, Operational Planning and Implementation Research & information, training and capacity-building, technical and equipment, communications and outreach, funding Partner countries, advocacy engagement, IGOs, NGOs, demand reduction Agreed work programme for next 6-12 months How are we going to get there?

Identify and prioritise (i)the activities needed for each of the three programme themes identified, (ii)national-level activities that can link with these, (iii)who is responsible for coordinating the relevant activity, (iv)which member countries would be involved in the activity, (v)other partners who would be involved in these activity, (vi)the approximate timing and location for the activity, (vii)expected outputs from the activity, and (viii) funding needed and funding available or secured for the activity.
