III. IPC Chronic Food Insecurity Map 18 Provinces of Mindanao

III. IPC Chronic Food Insecurity Map In summary, of the 18 provinces: Lanao del Sur and Sulu are classified as Severe CFI Phase 4 15 provinces are classified as Moderate CFI Phase 3 Zamboanga del Sur is classified as Mild CFI Phase 2 About ¾ of the population fall under levels 2, 3 and 4

Next Steps Revise the IPC Chronic Food Insecurity Report based on IPC GSU comments Validate-present results with RDCs/SDCs Disseminate to national level sectors as input to food security and nutrition assessment and strategic planning Conduct 2 nd round IPC Chronic Analysis in 3 rd Quarter of 2015 to cover additional provinces
