Exercise affects chemicals in your brain Releases chemicals called endorphins which lifts your mood, energizes you, and may help you sleep more soundly at night

Depression can make you feel tired, so take it easy on yourself!! Allow yourself to rest for mins every few hours. Ways to relax: Take a Nap Read your favorite book Listen to Music Daydream Doodle Call a friend

When you’re depressed, you might isolate yourself from your friends, family, and other people who care about you Stay busy. Stay Connected. Ways to be social: Attend a sports game, concert, school performance Have/Go to a party Play a sport Hang out with friends Do things you like!

Nutritious foods give your body and mind the fuel they need to stay healthy and strong Changing your diet is a good way to improve your mood and outlook, but you have to be careful not to go overboard Eat Breakfast Avoid Caffeine Drink Water

Feelings need to be felt- even if you don’t like them. If you keep your emotions bottled up inside, they can hurt you and make you feel even worse Ways to face your feelings: Stop, Think, Feel Breathe When you’re sad, cry When you’re lonely, be with someone
