Simon Cowell and how he is an entrepreneur Simon Cowell is an entrepreneur one way he is an entrepreneur because Simon and another man by the name of Iain Burton. They started a company called Fanfare Records. Fanfare did very well. They had one main hit artist Sinitta. Simon did that from 1985 to In 2001 Simon started detecting a worldwide trend of a growing appreciation for classical music. Simon was looking for young attractive male singers. It was a 2 year world wide search. Simon found four big hits all from different countries. They got 26 #1 chart positions. They sold over 13 albums and got over 100 gold and platinum.

Is Simon still in the business Simon is not part of Fanfare Record anymore. You can not buy shares of Fanfare Records in the SMG group. If you could I don’t think you would do to well anyway so it doesn't even matter. Fanfare record is a private business. Fanfare records is an updated company, its not a new company.

Why Simon was so successful Simon was successful for several reasons. One reason he was so successful is because he really took time to look for a great singer. He didn't just choose right away. It took him two years too find the right people. A lot of other businesses benefited from seeing this business like Dancing with the Stars and maybe even American Idol. This business can really encourage other people, to start their own businesses. It shows if you really try anything could happen. Simon was a normal person when he started this business but now you all know Simon as famous. You should try, anyone could do it. All it takes is patience and effort.
