She never gave up on her dream of singing. “If you were to ask me what I would be when I grow up when I was little I would’ve been like, I want to be famous.” -Carrie Underwood- – 1997 first CD – 2002 2 nd CD – 2005 Wins American Idol Her songs make people feel happy. – Fast beat, great sound – Easy to sing along with

Grandfather – “I figured she’d make something of it, because she’s sung all her life.” Simon Cowell – “You’re not just the girl to beat, but the person to beat.”

Reason #2: Carrie Underwood has a good heart. She volunteered at Carter Healthcare Center. – Sitting with people who are very sick She also volunteered at a Women’s Shelter. She loves all animals, even bag worms!

Teacher – “She was always behind the scenes – she was never one to grab the limelight. She’s just being who she is and not super flashy.”

She was born on March 10, 1983. She began singing in Church in 1986. She is a vegetarian. Carrie Underwood has 2 sisters who are both elementary teachers. She won American Idol in 2005. She can play the guitar and piano. When she was little, she played with snakes.

I really enjoyed reading this book. I learned a lot about my third favorite singer. One thing I found out was that Carrie Underwood and I both love animals!
