The Second Conditional Form: If + v. Past Simple... Would (‘d) + v. infinitive Use: It expresses unreal, untrue, impossible or unlikely situations in the present ▫EXAMPLES:  If I had more time, I would travel / I would travel if I had more time*1  If I/he were famous, I/he would meet my/his favourite music band *2  If I were you, I wouldn’t cut my hair.
