College GPA (Grade Point Average)  Begins Fall semester of 10 th grade and Ends Summer Session prior to the 12 th grade.  This is the GPA used for college applications which includes your class rank. *If you need to make up any course during that time it must be done before you begin the fall semester of the 12 th grade to improve your college GPA.* LAUSD GPA  Grades 9-12 th grade Fall semester.  Silver & Gold seal bearers (on diploma and cords for graduation).  Class rank for school Valedictorian and Salutatorian.

Community Service  Minimum Hours for the Graduation Ceremony Requirement is 80 hours (grades 9-12).  College/Universities/Scholarships look for students with 100 or more hours.
