The FMST through her STI Policy planned to utilize S&T in critical areas such as Information and Communications Technology (ICT) o through ‘indigenous capabilities development for the local manufacture of ICT hardware and other accessories through technological learning’, o for national planning and development within, Attempt to institutionalize the necessary Policy framework to o manage and effectively deploy credible, safe, and smooth election processes o for sustainable and accountable democratic governance and development. Final Remarks Coordination of the Economy for transformational CHANGE is a duty of the Ministries (FMST, MCT, etc, Agencies, Professional Bodies (NCS, CPN, etc) and key players in the S&T and ICT sector particularly; Educated, empowered stakeholders’ are needed: will create productive, strong economies & societies, where there is full participation and representation by all thereby creating a more peaceful and stable economy. Let’s use our vast knowledge to create the wealth that will take Nigeria to the next level in the midst of vibrant nations through ICTs
