12 THINGS JESUS DID NOT DO Acts 17:1-3

1 Now when they had passed through Amphipolis and Apollonia, they came to Thessalonica, where was a synagogue of the Jews: 2 And Paul, as his manner was, went in unto them, and three sabbath days reasoned with them out of the scriptures, 3 Opening and alleging, that Christ must needs have suffered, and risen again from the dead; and that this Jesus, whom I preach unto you, is Christ. 12 Things Jesus Did Not Do 2

What Jesus Did Not Do 12 Things Jesus Did Not Do 4

DID NOT Sin Jesus was the only sinless man to live on this earth “For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin” Hebrews 4:15 “For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens” Hebrews 7:26 “Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth” 1 Peter 2:22 John 8:46 12 Things Jesus Did Not Do 5

DID NOT Seek Revenge Even though He was treated wrongfully, he did not retaliate. “Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously ” 1 Peter 2:23 Jesus practiced what He preached He turned the other cheek Matthew 5:39 He humbly submitted to His enemies Matthew 27: Things Jesus Did Not Do 6

DID NOT Relinquish His Deity It has been taught that Jesus gave up His deity and was just and ordinary man like you and me. “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth” John 1:14 Jesus was God in the flesh “the Son of God” - Mark 1:1 “the Son of man” - Mark 14:41 12 Things Jesus Did Not Do 7
