 The bald eagles’ beak is a hooked beak to pick the skin off the animal it will eat.  The hooked beak will help them get the flesh off the fish to pick the meat off the bones from the fish.  Behind the hook the upper jaw is so sharp it can rip any skin.

 A flamingo’s beak is made upside down to drink the water from its very long beak.  Flamingo’s tongues are used as pumps to drink the water.  The flamingo’s beak filters tiny plants and animals that the flamingo’s likes to eat.

 Puffins’ can hold up to two dozen small herrings at one time.  Male puffins’ grow vividly colors around their beaks to attract a female puffins.  Puffins can open there bills really will. Really wide.

 Red headed woodpeckers beaks are made pointed to drill and tear into wood to search for insects to eat.  Red headed woodpeckers will store food in the trees for example: like acorns and seeds to eat for food.
