There are global development issues: MDG, Sustainable development and a global agenda There is a Global Statistical System Statistics outputs are not yet up to the challenge Developing countries need development resources, mainly finances and technical assistance, on a much larger scale and for many years to come There is a need for improved aid effectiveness and for an holistic approach to statistics development worldwide My proposal : design a GSDS
