Transforming lives through learning Purpose of the Fund The Access to Education Fund aims to reduce the barriers to learning experienced by pupils from disadvantaged backgrounds. In providing the Access to Education Fund, Scottish schools are being given an opportunity to apply for funding to provide support to these pupils, and their families, and to provide educational experiences which will enhance learning, address existing barriers and help each child reach their full potential.
