OVERVIEW & PURPOSE/CONCEPT The RUN FOR A CAUSE; CANCER event is a one of a kind experience that is less about speed and more about enjoy with your friends and family and at the same time doing the charity. Program designed to focus on cancer awareness and educate people towards healthy lifestyle. Nowadays, Malaysians are unaware that everybody is open to the risk of cancer, regardless race, status and health condition. This event shall be co-organized with MAKNA as part of the objectives is to raise fund for MAKNA. The funds that the event gets are from the registration and sponsorship. The event participants consist of all level of ages, race and society.

AIMS & OBJECTIVES To contribute to the community especially for CANCER patients. To help create a society that is considerate and responsible to the people who need help and care. To create a healthy and active community. To help raise fund for MAKNA.

Target participant School students, university students, public servants and public. There can be runners from different age levels . .Children 7-12 years old .Teenagers 13-25 years old .Adults 26-54 years old .Veterans 55 years old and above

Event Manager - Ensure smooth running and coordinate the event. -Ensure the event complied with all Federal and State Laws and local government regulations. -Budget forecasting and financial control. -Recruit the volunteer. - Evaluate the risk management potential hazards in the venue and site plan checklist such as nearest medical central and police station. Food and Beverage Bureau Determine the catering desired Prepare food Choose menu base on audience Make final decision in terms of quality, price Treasurer -Prepare the budget includes administration cost, marketing cost, rental fees of equipment and monitor the spending. - Manage the financial reports. Logistic and Transportation Bureau -ensure all the logistic matter (equipments) for the event is being prepared. -Arrangement of transportation for the volunteer and crew members Secretary Administration the paperwork such as approval letter from the state government. Send the invitation cards to the sponsor. Souvenir and Protocol Bureau -Prepare certificates and medal for the participants -Arrange souvenirs for VIP’s -Ushering the VIP Bureau Leader -Monitor all the task under his/her responsibility - Ensure all the bureau doing their job Sponsorship Bureau Get the details of VIP Collect sponsor Prepare Mock Check Activity Bureau -Arrangement of activities during the event Safety and Health Bureau -Prepare first aid
