Tip of the Day Everyone: Do Not Let you PAST determine your FUTURE…

Genocide the systematic killing of all the people from a national, ethnic, or religious group, or an attempt to do this

Kristallnacht: Night of Broken Glass November 9, 1938

The Night of Broken Glass Jews throughout Germany and Austria were beaten and killed. Their homes, shops, and places of worship were looted and smashed. Many Jews then fled to other parts of Europe to escape the misery of life in the Third Reich. Some also went to Britain and North and South America. As the Nazis overran Europe, Jews once again found themselves under Hitler’s authority. This created what the Nazis called, “the Jewish problem.” In January 1942, Nazi leaders officially decided to murder all Jews in Europe. At the Wannsee Conference, Nazi leaders set forth their plan for the “final solution to the Jewish problem.”

Holocaust the systematic, state-sponsored persecution and murder of approximately six million Jews by the Nazi regime and its collaborators. Ever country the Nazis conquered: Rounded up Jews and sent them to death camps Auschwitz in Poland (well known) As you look at the pictures, think: How are these people feeling?
