8 Essentials to build GREAT character

 In your Lessons Section add in your notes OR on the back of the quote handout:  In your own words define Servant Leadership, character and personality.  What are similarities and differences of personality and character?  Servant Leadership is…  Learning and choosing GREAT CHARACTER  SERVING AND SACRIFICING  Being INTENTIONAL in ACTIONS  ACTING in LOVE

At LHS everything is intentional

 Personality is a Gift set by the age of 6  Character is who you are; built by the thousands of choices you make daily  Character is something we get to CONTROL  What do you think about this?

 Read through the details of each of the 8 essentials  In your notebook, reflect on each essential by answering the following questions for EACH ESSENTIAL:  Is this essential something you have mastered and feel confident in or is it something you need to continue to work on? Explain.  What are some examples from your own life you have used this essential to show Agape Love?

 Leaders choose to have strong character  With INTENTION and ACTION we have a WILL  With Intention and no action we have NOTHING

 ASB/Leadership’s plan to promote a better school climate!  Servant Leadership Plan  A Pledge to Yourself  Accountability partner- Choose wisely!!!  Character Card- Tools to become best version of self  Choose an overall goal for the ENTIRE year to work on  School Goal- This will change every week or so, based on what the class votes on  At Home goal- something you want to work on at home, this also changes weekly  After you complete your first Character Card- get with your partner and decide on a way to help each other be successful
