Neolithic (8000 B.C B.C.) ► “New Stone” age ► Farming begins “agricultural revolution” ► Villages are built (Jericho, Catal Huyuk)

Neolithic (8000 B.C B.C.) ► More people are fed  higher population  unclean  spread of disease ► However, farming improves lives of people

Neolithic (8000 B.C B.C.) ► Food surplus  free time to do other things: specialization (development of different kinds of jobs)  make things  trade
