METASCHOOL PROJECT KICK-OFF MEETING 3 1 Training implementation : training phase 01/09-08/09 eLearning Online Courses - Using existing training platforms - for METASCHOOL 2009 Courses offered: 15 self directed 12 cooperative Face to Face Workshop 5 types of groups: only teachers (different schools, colleagues-same school) only teachers and pupils (from different schools) teachers, pupils and institutions, representatives from museums, private companies, etc. (different schools) teaching in regular lessons: teachers and pupils (directly in the school) pupils for pupils Online Conferences Focus groups 2008/09: Scenarios eContent enrichment and improvement intercultural communication and languages techniques and tools

METASCHOOL PROJECT KICK-OFF MEETING 5 3 Training-Seminars BM:UKK sets the framework and guidelines for schools with the following procedure: Duration: 1 ½ Day Venue: Schools with adequate infrastructure Activies: Plenum&Keynotes: Presentation of Best Practice Examples, Presentation of other EU projects Working groups:Testing LOs on project Portals Content for the Austrian - Portals eContent Providers, Committee, Evaluation, Enrichment Learning Scenarios & Didactical Conceptions Searching in WWW, Repositories, Learning Platforms Media Right & Copyright, Standards: IMS Standard Documentation:All activities have to be documented by the participants on the Project Care of BM:UKK each schools get access to this project management plattform: for teachers and pupils. Standardised forms have to be used for every meeting by the teams: Invitation / Moderation / Programme / Minutes / Documentation

METASCHOOL PROJECT KICK-OFF MEETING 6 4 Definition of Pilotschools For these METASCHOOL-schools BMUKK will organise the following activities together with other running projects: 3 regional Workshops (Tyrol, Vienna, Styria) Online-Workshops and Online-Trainings for all 9 Austrian provinces BM:UKK will invite and inform our Austrian Schools in Prague, Budapest, Istanbul, Guatemala BM:UKK will invite and inform our Bilingual Schools in Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary 10 schools from Austria for METASCHOOL BM:UKK will invite 1 school per province and invite the bilingual schools to take part as associated school- partners.
