4 Recent Meetings The subcommittee met on 13 January 2014 The topics discussed at this meeting include: Standardizing terminology: share, submit, publish, datasheet Standards, specifications, and guidelines document updates Changes to the National Flood Insurance program and associated elevation needs Some of the outcomes arising from this meeting include: Larry Hothem gave us a briefing on international standards activities We documented our rationale for the selection of geodetic control theme datasets Began to execute our plan to update standards documents

6 Recent Developments/Projects FGDC Geospatial Positioning Accuracy Standards suite NGS is updating two of the 5 parts  Part 1: reporting methodology  Part 2: standards for geodetic networks To ensure consistency among the parts, we may have some input to Part 3 (National Standard for Spatial Data Accuracy) too. Who should we work with if we have updates to Part 3, which is maintained by the USGS?
