Write an informative abstract (but don’t make it too long!) Document constraints appropriately  Access constraints: who should be able to access the resource?  Use constraints: what are the limitations of use once the resource has been accessed? Use keywords effectively  Think broadly and narrowly  Sometimes a specific keyword can help others find your record if you share it in a catalog Check your metadata!  Spelling  Defaults from various tools  Accuracy
