Lecture Hall I Presentation Console Overview

Welcome to the Lecture Hall I presentation console!

We will now begin an overview of the equipment and tools that can be utilized for giving presentations

Located on the top surface of the podium are the control interface and a cable cubby.

Cable Cubby

Control Interface

The push-button interface is used to control different aspects of the video projector.

These two buttons turn the projector on and off.

These will blink for 30 seconds after being pressed: the projector needs time to start up, and also needs time to cool down after being turned off.

These buttons tell the projector which device to display (i.e. PC, VCR, Blu Ray).

You can also adjust the volume of your presentation by turning this knob

In the cable cubby you will find the VGA and audio cables necessary for giving presentations with a personal laptop.

The lower front side of the podium houses an equipment rack.

Here you will find the PC, Blu-Ray Player, DVD/VCR and a couple of drawers containing useful items.

This drawer contains: DVD/VCR Remote Blu-Ray Remote Wireless Microphone

There is also a small drawer located just above the DVD/VCR. Here you will find the keyboard and touchpad mouse.

This is the touchpad mouse. It is essentially the same mouse you would find built into a laptop.
